Best Buy Series 10 Pre-Order

I preordered a jet black 46mm Series 10 from Best Buy for in-store pickup last week. Has anyone gotten any updates for in-store pickup or shipping? Mine still says preordered, but normally the day before it flips to Preparing for Pickup.

I know they have a mixed track record when it comes to preorders, but I haven’t had any issues in the past.

I ordered the same thing from BB for in-store pickup and have the exact same status. I also heard that it should go to Preparing for Pick-up this evening, but so far no changes.

Best Buy's systems were behaving strangely this past launch it seems for at least some other people. I received an email on Thursday evening at around 10:50pm ET that my watch pre-order was not quite ready for pickup and I will receive an email when it is. Yet the order status said preparing for pickup tomorrow. I take this as it is not yet in stock, so I change store pickup to another nearby store that had 1 in stock since launch day inventories had updated by this point. Only a few stores around me had the 46mm aluminum jet black in stock. When I changed stores, the store I originally wanted to get the watch from had flipped its inventory status to 1 in stock. So it seems the system may have glitched and the store had my watch in stock the entire time, but none for walk-ins or new orders. Or it could have been that they were expecting the shipment later that launch day. Who knows, but in the end, I received my watch from the other store on launch day.

Curious if this happened to anyone else who preordered at Best Buy this year?
