When Apple comes to YOU and wants to do a partnership... you say yes. Not no. Verizon learned this the hard way with the iPhone. Apple went to VZW first, then AT&T.

The iPhone became the best gamble in the mobile industry... ever.

I think it's interesting that Apple looked into being a mvno. They'd have total control over the iPhone and services.
