Best Buy Walk-in

Wife decided she wanted the 7 Plus this morning, Sunday 9/18. Got to the local BB and hour and a half after opening. Walked right up to the mobile desk and asked if they had a Verizon 7 plus. She walked out 20 minutes later with her 7 Plus, Rose Gold, 128. Rep said she was shocked that they had gotten 1 in the afternoon before that was not a pre-order. Never hurts to ask.

I went to Best Buy on 'launch' day. I was there at 7:30AM and they opened at 8. They turned me away at about 20 minutes 'till. They said no pluses. At 11:30, when I was LONG gone, a 128GB Matte Black arrived. I found out about it around 2:30. SO MAD!

Luck of the draw. Since I had no reservation with them, they had no obligation to hold it. Never would have known if I didn't go back to check.
