Best cable to connect Mac mini m2 pro to monitor

Hi I’m due to get the Mac mini m2 pro soon coming from the 2012 Mac mini which is currently connected by Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort.
What is the best way to connect my new Mac mini to the monitor or usbc to DisplayPort to achieve the best resolution?.

USB-C to DP cables are cheap on AMZN. I'd do that.

I went for a Cable Matters USB C to DP cable from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LYD2Y19). No great insight went into the choice but it works for 2560x1440@60hz. HDMI for the 2nd monitor.

Unless you know you will never want it, I think I'd buy a cable or dongle that supports 4K 144Hz.

is the cable I use from my Mac Studio to my monitor. Rock solid and not had any issue with it.
