I am trying to connect two external monitors to my new 2015 MBP.

I'm having cable issues. I ordered 2 mini-DisplayPort->DisplayPort cables from Amazon (Cable Matters brand). One of the two was defective out-of-the-box. The other seems to be working fine. However, the replacement that I received today is also defective. (I've tested all cables with both monitors.)

Anyway, the way I have my cables routed with my desk setup, I will need two 15ft cables. I prefer mini-DisplayPort->DisplayPort cables, but my monitor also has HDMI input (it's just that the way the HDMI inputs are placed on the monitors, it would be a cleaner look and more aseptically pleasing to use the DisplayPort inputs).

Does anyone have any good brand recommendations?? I've done some searching for alternatives, but I could not find very many options out there. I'm not looking to spend $100 on a cable, but perhaps someone knows of something with a bit more premium build quality?
