Anyone got any suggestions for a good camera app for taking pictures?
On the apple homepage yesterday there was an app on an ipad showing taking pictures of the great wall of china and it looked as if it had more functions than the normal camera app
Tried contacting apple to see what the app was but no luck and now the hoempage has changed

I was going to suggest ProCamera HD as a very good alternative to what you might have seen at Apple.com. But, maybe it WAS what you saw, based on a comment in the app description ("Price Drop - Thank you Apple to feature ProCamera HD on Apple.com!")

It looks like it's on sale right now for $1.99. I use their iPhone app exclusively for all the extra control it gives for photos AND for video.

Regards,
Tom

I would have to say that the best camera is just the one included by Apple.

The sun is always in your face here in Texas, so shooting with an iPad is an absolute nightmare to begin with. Any of them I've tried, and I've tried them ALL , I couldn't see in these conditions. Most of them don't save out to the camera roll immediately either which really made me angry when I was shooting out at the lake a couple months ago.

With how awful the iPad camera is, you really want the originals to edit separately anyway.
