Best card for flawless bluray viewing?

I have a mac pro with nvidia geforce 7300GT. In bootcamp, the playback of blu ray and hd-dvd has hiccups. It displays, but with the occasional line flashing in it. I want to upgrade the graphics card. What would be the best one? I have PCIe, not 2.0, so I think the 8800 is out. Looks like the 8600 would work, but I'm not 100% sure that all the nvidia cards are mac pro compatible. The apple site offers no help considering my current card is still listed. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

as far as i know the

only cards that work with mac pro are as follows

7300GT
8800GT (release for old mac pro soon)
2600xt

anymore news on the 8800 update for old mac pros? The bit about an update being out in a few weeks was from January.
