I am done with my current carrier deal (Cricket... suuuuper cheap but over the years I've grown frustrated with the limitations of my suuuuper cheap grandfathered plan that I can't change). So I'm going to switch with this iPhone 15 upgrade. I have old phones that are unlocked - a couple 11s, a couple 12s, and a 13 pro. It seems to me that Tmobile offers a much better product for still a pretty good price. I'm confused by their iPhone 15 trade-in deals though. Up until today, their deal was "$830 for any phone iPhone X or better in good condition", but now their website appears to offer $1000 for an iPhone 11 Pro and $830 for iPhone 14, and $400 for iPhone 7. See the exact quote from their press release below.

"Qualifying credit, service, and, for trade-in offer, trade-in (e.g., Save $1000: Apple iPhone 11 Pro; Save $830: Apple iPhone 14; Save $400: Apple iPhone 7) required. Up to $1,000 via bill credits; must be active and in good standing to receive credits; allow 2 bill cycles. "

Makes no sense that an 11 Pro should be worth more than a 14 to trade, but if that's what it takes, I'll buy some of them to trade.

Anyone see a better deal for switching carriers that includes the most credit toward a 15 Pro? Thanks!

I would wait until TMO runs their promo at bestbuy - the best so far deals for outright iphones. Usually should start kicking towards 22nd Sep.

I thought I saw somewhere that Costco gives like $150 gift card for switching carriers there too....

I don't know. As far as i know, costco might do 36 month plans?
If so, I am in for old Bestbuy/tmo duo which gave back in the day +$80 or sometimes +$200 to apple's value = so 650+200= $850 towards 15PM might be a better value proposition.

Tmobile is pulling out of best buy.
Ahhh the old tried and true withdrawal method!

In all seriousness, @BB I see iP14 still show Tmobile but iP15 only show VZ and ATT. Seems to me since Sprint and Tmob merged, the days of good iPhone deals has ended. RIP Membership Wireless @ Costco as well. Tmob @ Costco and BB both had ways to buy without monthly credits, also seemingly RIP. Thank you DOJ for the reduced competition!
