Best case for an average drop

So i will be getting an iphone 4 form Verizon and wondering what is the best case for like a 6f drop or anything on accident, not planning on doing anything on purpose lol.

I got 2 candyshells so far. The silicone flaking is pretty bad on the front, but it's a pretty good case. And i dont think it adds too much bulk.

You can get the Case-Mate Pop for the VZW iPhone Now, it's the same thing as the candyshell but with a different look, and it doesn't have as bad of a flaking problem.

I have 3 Candyshells in different colors and revisions. All 3 of them are flaking. They offer decent protection, but they don't seem like they'll last long.

The CandyShell isn't the first case I would recommend since it's only coated with a thin layer of rubber on the inside.
A Case-Mate Tough case will give you better drop protection with it's silicone layer and hard outer shell.
