Whats the best case to use if I don't use a screen protector. I am so sick of my screen protectors. I have been using power support and I keep on getting dust stuck on it while i am installing it. It drives me nuts. I want to try no SP. What case would be good in protecting my screen? I use pixelskin HD now and love it, but not sure how it would protect my screen with no SP. Thanks

Otterbox defender is the only one I can think of that has a built in screen protector.. theres not many options available.

Thanks for the response. I meant a case that would do a good job on protecting my screen since I don't want a screen protector at all. I don't want anything cover ther screen. So the defender wouldn't work.

I'm confused.. you don't want a SP of any kind.. so you want a good lay on the table design? Its impossible to have nothing covering your screen but still protecting it..?

If my iPhone 4 is not in my hand it is inside here

I've had the 3GS and now the iPhone 4 without screen protectors in the sena ultraslim and no scratches at all.

Incase Slider, has a lip that goes over the front side of the phone. Has been known to lift screen protectors (that haven't been aligned perfectly).

What case is that? Any other suggestions to similar cases? I might do a protective sleeve + pixelskin HD and no SP.

Good luck finding a sleeve that will fit the Pixelskin HD. Most cases will work without a SP and most have a decent lip that protects the screen. The Pixelskin HD,Candyshell, Incipio NGP are just a few examples of cases that work pretty good with or without screen protectors. Good luck.

What case do u use? I was searching for threads on leather cases and saw your post.

All this talk of skins and screen protectors etc
I have had many iphones including ip4 and have never had any cause to use a sp or case
Apple spent a lot of money to make these things look as good as they do
Why cover it up !
From a practical point of view Ive always kept my phone in my jeans pocket and there is not a mark on it.
so go ahead waste your money on your paranoia....
Im surprised you've even taken it out the box.

I have a Powersupport AG on now, but I didn't when I got the case last week. It works either way. The SP doesn't add any bulk to your phone.

Thanks. I am debating going your route

or a flip pouch

I have the Otterbox Defender case and it has been suggested that the best option is to pop out the included screen membrane. This way you get the protection, but you don't lose the beauty of the screen. Since it comes with a holster, the screen will be protected when not in use.

And to respond to the I never had a screen protector people: stop. Just becuase you were lucky does not mean that everyone else will be. I have had both the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4. Both screens WILL scratch. And no, I don't put it in my pocket with keys or coins.

Funny thing is, the iPhone 4 screen's minor (you have to look VERY hard to see it) imperfection was caused by the Otterbox Defender. A piece of dirt (?) made it inside their suppossed dust resistant case and rubbed my screen. Unfortunately, since I am soon to be a truck driver, I have no choice but to use a case that will protect the phone. Hopefully, I can find something more dust resistant than Otterbox.
