Ok guys,

what is the best charging method? Computer USB or wall socket?

Reason for question is that someone said that it is best in order to condition the battery properly. Why?

Surely charging is charging. I wouldn't even ask this question, but my old charger from my 1sg gen ipod will no longer charge my iphone as it's a firewire cable and not USB so only have one cable which stays attached to my computer!

Lets hear it.

I dont know if it makes a difference and I dont know if my few days would be able to tell anything, but on Friday night, I charged my phone in the wall. Saturday I spent about 3-4 hours inputting my passwords into SplashID...by the time I was done, I got the 20% battery warning.

Ever since, I have charged the phone daily on my computer while I work...battery life has gotten much better.

Dont know if it makes a difference where it was charged or if the battery has just finally calibrated, so take it for what you will. Just my experience.
