I need a printer, but I am on a budget. I preferably want one that can be set up to print wirelessly with my macbook/ipad. What do you all recommend as far as this goes? I would prefer to spend $50 max (I know that might not get me much)
Thanks for the suggestions.

The Canon PIXMA MG3220 and the Epson Expression Home XP-400 are the two least expensive printers with AirPrint (prints from your iPhone/iPad over WiFi, too).

If you’re looking for a speedier, slightly larger printer that cranks out pretty photos, the Canon Pixma MG3220 might be the better option for you. But if you need a compact, super-simple printer for your personal documents and the occasional photo, the Epson Expression XP-400 has given me one of the most pain-free printer experiences I’ve had in a long time.

They're not cheap but inexpensive. $50 get you a mediocre fountain pen and a notepad, these printers are more like $75.

Don't forget to consider the cost & frequency of ink replacement as well as the purchase cost of the printer. I'm not sure how current printers are for that but I found it cost-effective to replace a perfectly good (except that for cartridge replacement costs) inexpensive inkjet printer a couple of years ago. The replacement was a slightly more expensive b&w laser printer that has saved me a lot of money.
