I was told by the guy at the apple store today to to use alcohol and then said some kind of wipe name. I just cant remember what to use. what is the best thing to clean the phone with?

I personally just use little dabs of water on my finger and clean it with a microfiber cloth right after.

Honestly, the best thing I've used is a nice microfiber cloth with breath steam. I've gotten everything off my phone with that combo.

i was using distilled water and microfiber cloth and the guy said water will take away the finish.

Microfiber cleaning cloths. Just be sure to wash them occasionally, as the dirt and grime will build up over time and render the cloths useless.

iklear (they used to carry it at the apple stores but discontinued). You can still find them at Microcenter. But Amazon has it.

Get the $24 package (the big bottle has lasted me 1 1/2 years)

Microfiber will do it most the time

I have also used a soft paper towel just barely dampened with Windex for years.

Need to remove from your case every so often as grit will build up between the phone and case and can damage to phone surface.
