Best cooling stand/pads for White Macbooks

Hello,

I've had my White Macbook (13" late 2008) for a while now, and use it all the time. The only problem I find is that it get mentally hot on my lap and the fan is on full speed unless I sort of hover it above my lap which is a little awkward.

Can anybody recommend any good cooling pads for stands for lap use?

I've done a little googling and not really found much.

Any advice would be great.

Never thought of that, is it easy to get at? I guess just unscrew the screws and take the base cover off?

It's not that hard to do, I used an air duster to blow all the dust out, my fan runs much slower now.

And I use a raindesign iLap which keeps the heat away from my lap.

the iLap looks quite good, but blimy its expensive. ha

I gave the fan a good blow out so hopefully might make it stay a little cooler. Atm it seems to be quiet from the fan...

I play a lot of Diablo 3 on my white MacBook, so it tends to get hot fast. I ended up buying this one, and it works great! Keeps my temps under 50C on normal activities, and not too much hotter after gaming.
