iOS Best day of week to release App?

More people download apps on the weekend, if that helps. At least, that's been my observation.
Christmass/New Year and Thursday evenings (because then friday it gets downloaded).

In the old days (when dinosaurs walked the Earth), you would release an application and stay on the "What's New" page for at least a day or two. If you released an application before the weekend, there was a chance that your application would stay there until Monday. There are so many applications being released now that you probably would not stay there for even one full day.
