Came out to about $987.91. I don't mind that it's a Core Duo; I'm typing on one right now and it's been wonderful to me. Now, though, I'm going to have 1.5 GB of RAM and (finally) a Superdrive... Sweeeeet.

Best freaking deal ever, and I just sold my White CD MB for $850.00. Awesome. Check out Apple Store -> "Special Deals" -> "Refurbished Mac". It was JUST updated.

Yes, Apple refurbs are the deal of the century. My MBP (an older CD model) was $1424. I think it was 2499 new a year ago.

Thanks! I plan to buy a 1G stick to even out the 1.25GB I've got right now on my White MB. It says it shipped today and should be here by Thursday. I'm so stoked.

Funny thing, there were about 12 Macbooks on the refurb page at 2:30am this morning, and now there are 3, I believe. Dang, people.

Got to do the opening, it's legit, registered with Apple, it goes nicely with my C2D 2.16 Imac and my white 80 GB ipod, the black 8GB iphone looks a little out of place.
