Best deal on Mac Studio!

I've been thinking of buying a Mac Studio since last year here in Sweden and I missed a 10% discount on Black Friday 2022 when I didn't get the money transferred to my credit card in time. Since then I've been waiting for an update of Mac Studio with M2 but today I got a notice about a new deal and I couldn't resist it so I bought one after all. I got a whooping $530 discount on a base Mac Studio M1 Max 24c GPU. It's around 21.6% off, the biggest discount I've seen.

I don't know if it means new Mac Studios are coming but I have a special 90 days return policy with my customer membership so I'm not going to open the box and wait at least until WWDC to see if any new M2 Mac Studios will be released. Another thing is that any new Mac Studio will be much more expensive here in Sweden like the MBP M2 Pro/Max so if I don't buy the new ones I got a great deal at least. They have also $1000 discount on Mac Studio M1 Ultra 48c but that's too much for me.

Has anyone seen such huge discounts recently on the latest Macs? This is the only retailer with the discount at the moment. All the others here have normal prices.

Yes, it was quite unbelievable. I was lucky not having the money ready before so I could get this huge discount now.

I generally choose the base configuration only occasionally adding some RAM or storage. But if you had decided to purchase Studio, I'd buy any configuration that offers such huge discount. Now, new computers do come, but with such discount, you got sweet deal and new computers will not be discounted soon, so congrats!

I always buy the model with a good enough GPU since I'm a casual gamer too. The base Studio 24c is better and cheaper than the maxed Mac Mini M2 Pro 19c but I had changed my mind a bit for M1 Max 32c now that I have a 4K monitor and unlike macOS UI games look bad at 1080p on a 4K monitor so I have to run them at 1440p at least with my MBP M1 Pro 14c.

So I was thinking of getting 32c GPU but they're no where to find here with the base config and even then it would cost $800 more for 8 extra GPU cores and that's not worth it. Even a Mac Mini M2 Pro 19c with similar specs costs $827 more so yes, it's a sweet deal.

I have always envied people who have Refurb Store in their country, like USA or other European countries. In Sweden we don't have that. In the US store now there is a $200 discount on the base Mac Studio. With $530 and a new Mac instead of refurbished I feel that I got my revenge at last.
