I used to use SpeedDownload/speed download lite..
But then I found Jdownloader, BEST app I have used for rapid share.
If you dont use a paid account it will enter the security code automaticcaly..
If you do have a paid account you can check the status and your traffic all withing the app.
Also, it will auto extract, and add passwords if the archive is passworded... It checks for dead links... and a whole other whack of stuff... It is also cross platform (written in java). Mac, windows, linux you name it.
