Best drop protection??

Hey guys...shattered iPhone screen here. Tried the whole slim case thing (casemate barely there) and it failed.

So I was wondering what the thinnest screen shattering prevention gaurunteed case is? I know it may be bulky but I need one that absolutely won't let my iPhone 4 screen shatter
 
Technically there's no such thing as shatter prevention. I don't think any company would stand behind a statement like that. You can even get an otterbox and be unlucky enough to shatter the phone when dropping it.
 
I think if your going for just protection than the otterbox is the way to go. There are no guarantee's with any case but the otterbox is pretty proven. Go to youtube and watch them through a IPhone off a 2nd story roof onto a concrete parking lot numerous times and the phone is fine. It really is a neat video.

Yeah I was going to get the commuter but there are so many complaints on the amazon reviews :(

Idk, I have a commuter and its amazing. I've seen those reviews and people are just bagging on it for no real reason. Plus if there's any problem, Otterbox will replace it. they don't even ask to send the old one back, they just send you a new one

Yeah their customer service is great.
 
My first case was the Incipio Feather and I loved how slim it was until my iPhone went screen first on the concrete. It actually came away with only a small nick in one corner but I decided I needed something with a little more protection. I have been using the Candyshell flip and really like it. It does show a ton of scratches but I can use it in a dock and it has a lip on the screen.

Personally I think it's as good a balance as you can get for both style and protection without being too bulky.
