Best dvd burning software?

I am using Lion on my macbookpro and Snow Leopard on my iMac, i have Roxio Toast Titanium to burn the dvd, but it writes on 2x speed, i want to know how to increase its writing speed? Or if is there any other software for burning the dvd in full speed please let me know

Have you tried using disk utility if it's a .iso or .img file?

They are not iso or dmg files, they are just my data files and mp3 and many more
