I love quicktime but I just realized I cant watch movies full screen  man this is annoying!!! The DIVX player, for some reason, when fullscreen, chunks the images up enough to be quite annoying (is it converted through rosetta or something?).

Anyhow what I need is a proper player, anybody got a good recommendation?

I really enjoy using DVD Player to watch DVD movies full-screen. You can find it in your Applications folder.

Also, iTunes plays movie files full screen, and also has the nifty feature of organizing them.

If you have front row on your mac, you can also watch full screen using it. The movie files have to be in the Movies folder then to be visible to front row. Other than that I'd recommend vlc or mplayer.
