What are my alternatives? Is Stanza still being updated?

Are there any apps that allow you to highlight or annotate?

Kobo Reader is what I'm using and it has been good to me.

yeah I think kindle app is amost as good as ibooks, except that the font and page turn animation is not as good as on ibooks.

I own a Kindle (love it!) and use the Kindle app on my iPhone or iPad whenever the Kindle is not around. No complaints here, everything works well!

I use Kindle and Kobo and like both.

I like how the Kobo app keeps track of your reading stats and gives you awards. It's almost like XBox / PS3 awards and trophies for reading.

I haven't seen any other e-reader or app that does this.
