I would prefer stand alone but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know what the best is, but I've had this site in my bookmarks for ages. It gives you some options. Keep in mind though that grammar editing software in general bites. Basically it just lumps together the words in a sentence and tells you what should be correct. It pays no attention to context or tone.
