I recently bought a TDK I'maSpeaker. I don't know if you have it in the US but it's basically a CD case with a wafer-thin NXT speaker built into it. It's really good for what it is, but with the music that i play (breakbeat, dance, bass stuff), it's really distorted at even the lowest volume levels because it cannot reproduce the bass. So what is the best equalizer setting i can use ro burn the songs thru iTunes and then use them with my I'maSpeaker. Many thanx.

In the iTunes equalizer, turn the pre-amp all the way down. This minimizes distortion for me. Also, turn the bass down. I don't think iTunes applies equalizer settings when burning songs though. I think they only affect music you play directly through iTunes.

I like the preset "deep".

I listen to mostly punk, some ska, and reggae, and I think it sounds cool.

Kinda sucks on my tiny speakers, but im getting new ones soon.

sounded awesome when my computer sound was ran through my aiwa stereo, thats for sure!
