New to the forum. Was wondering if anyone could tell me the best possible settings to export my edited hd video in imovie 11 to toast 11 pro then to blu ray disc?

I'm not a professional, but I think you want to export to "Quicktime Movie".

Under options/settings choose H.264, key frames = 24, auto data rate, whatever quality. Under options/size... not sure, maybe "HD 1920x1080 16:9".

No idea on the sound settings. It's probably in the Wikipedia description of Blu-ray discs.

You also need to figure out whether to interlace or de-interlace... that always confuses me.

Has anyone else successfully edited in imovie 11 and burned to blu ray with great results?

Also have another question, how do I know if I need to deinterlace my video?

My camcorder records in 1080i.
