Best external case for DVD or BluRay Drive

Anyone have any experience with an external case for a BluRay drive or a DVD drive? I have one of the slim DVD drives but it's very slow (but good enough typically); but I would like to get a case for a BluRay drive. I will be using it with my MacBookPro so being compatible would be nice. Any suggestions?
 
I tried this solution and I've had nothing but problems. I have THIS enclosure from Amazon with an LG BR-Reader inside. Not sure which part is having issues, but the unit won't stay on for more than 10 seconds before it causes (any) computer to shut off USB ports for too high of power usage.

Happens on the iMac and my work Dell with Windows 7. Currently fighting with their tech support to narrow it down to the enclosure or the drive.
