I have a ssd/hdd setup in my mac and opted to lose the superdrive.

My question is what would be the best option for an external drive? I would like to reuse the stock drive somehow but i'm not sure what would be the best way to do it. i'm also open to buying an external superdrive but i have no idea which would be best.

All suggestions are welcome.

I have a LiteOn USB external "superdrive". It works great, and is faster than the internal one. That being said, there are external cases available for your internal drive... the company you bought your HDD bay from should also have external enclosures for your drive.
