Best external hd ever

i just got back from best buy. i bought a 320 GB external western digital hard drive there for only $180. it looks a little funky, but has these awesome lights on it. here is the link:

Not too bad! 320 gigs is a lot of space. I put together a USB 2.0 200GB drive last November for about 70 bucks. Gotta love those Black Friday sales!

i put together a 500gb (205) and a metalgearbox firewire (40) [230 total]. 320 is still a deal though.

Glad you're happy, but you might have done quite a bit better with a bit of shopping. I've never found "the best deal ever" in a best buy on anything.

For comparison, I just purchased a 300GB HD for $80 (no rebate hassles, free shipping). Enclosure should run $35-65 depending which one I choose. Or if you really want cheap, just grab an IDE to USB cord for a few bucks.
