I technically learned analog clocks in school, but have had almost no reasons to keep up the skill so I can only do it after enough thought that it’s pointless. I’ve been using California with full Arabic numbers, but I find it hard to distinguish the minutes due to the markers being squared.

Which face do you find to be the most readable? Anyone else have experience with relearning analog clocks?

I think the Utility face might be a good one to consider. It's colorful and includes both the hours and the minutes. You could also consider faces such as infograph, which include a digital time complication even though they might not be the most readable or well-labeled.

I posted a similar question before, where I wanted to learn how to read analog faces, with no markers.

I found that the Nike faces, with just 4 numbers, were the best ones.

An app you can try, is called Roughly. It’s a complication which displays the rough time, in words. This should help you.
