Best Fire Work ever! (QT)

I went to my mates house on Saturday night for a party and fireworks etc.

We all bought a box each to the party so there were about 2 hours worth of fireworks to get through.

My mates brother in law bought just one firework... it cost £30. We saved it till the end.

It was 2' x 2' and 8" deep. It said 100 repeater on the side and that we should stand at least 25 metres away. My mates garden is only 10 metres long and if its only a repeater its going to go straight up and explode above us. So we thought we would be ok standing a bit nearer. We were wrong!

We were a bit suspicious about it when we went to light it and noticed the fuse was over a foot long.

Here is the video. Bear in mind we were stood about 6 metres away (not 25). Beer was dropped, children cried and we were all blasted by debris at the end.

BEST FIREWORK EVER!

I am from Sheffield so the accents may seem funny to you guys. Basically 'Rate Good' means Brilliant. :D

This happened nearly a week ago and it still makes me wet myself everytime i see it. :D

Everyone expected it to fire stuff up in the air and explode above us.
 
Damn thing looked like you placed a Titan IV rocket booster into the ground - and your reactions are as if you thought so too.

I still can't keep a straight face when watching that.

Thats exactly what it was like. :D Good job we wedged it into the ground with bits of wood. Im still laughing at it now. :D
 
That laugh is infectious.

This vid is already in my collection.

Is there any way I can ask you to recompress the video to a larger size and faster framerate? I think if you save it as a Divx or h.264 you can get the file small enough.

Oo. And post it to StupidVideos.com and eBaum's world...

It was filmed on my mates phone so thats the best your gonna get. You can post it whereever you want. Im too lazy to do it!

Dunno coz the name etc was printed on a plastic wrapper that you have to take off before blowing up your mates garden. We threw it out before we even started lighting the fireworks. :(

And the guy who bought it got it from a wrestler in a pub :D

Classic stuff.
 
Me and my friend were going to spend £30 on a firework called "Wrath of God" when we were at school, but we never did. We thought with a name like that, it had to be spectacular...:p
