best free calendar sync: two macs + iphone

Hello,

What is presently the best method for keeping calendars on two macs and an iphone, in sync? for free...


presently i fumble to some semblance of 'in sync', by publishing on icalx all of my computers calendars, and subscribing to each other's calendars, while syncing all of these to my iphone...


but there must be a better way...?

wish google had an offline client, for example...

The best way is .Mac and I assume publishing and subscribing to the calendar is the best other way.
