Inuse PC Sony Vegas at the moment but when i get my Mac i want to know some editing softwares. I do know Final cut , after effects, but not anything else.
Free or cheap
Sorry about my last post

Well neither After Effects, Final Cut or indeed Sony Vegas are cheap at all.

If you're rich enough to call these pieces of software cheap, you should probably look into hiring someone to edit your video as well.

Anyway, iMovie is free and actually comes with your Mac. Joy of cheap joys.

What kind of footage do you want to edit and where do you want to show it?
Have you looked at iMovie? It is not as complex as Vegas, but might suffice your editing needs.
Or take a look at Final Cut Pro X.

Btw, After Effects is a compositing application, not an editing application.

all really depends on what you want to edit, if it's only personal, an iMac would work great, if you doing ALOT of work with editing, an Mac Pro would probably work better, but an iMac would definitely keep up with the work load =)

Im thinking of editing gameplay from my xbox... I record with HD PVR and i post them to YouTube
