Hey all, I'm looking for a screen protector for my iPhone 12 mini that fills these requirements:
  • Covers the screen (no notch cutout)
  • Has 2.5D edges
  • Can be purchased somewhere other than Amazon
  • Not FloLab (had several bad experiences)
Does anyone have a recommendation? Greatly appreciate any help :)

The closest i can give recommendations on is the Spigen EZ Fit. But it has a notch cutout…

I would go with Spigen. Installation is by far the best I've tried, it comes with 2 just in case, and they are inexpensive. Just check and make sure you are ordering the correct one, there are 2 versions and one is full coverage and one is not.

$70-80 for a screen protector?? Yikes, no thank you.

Has anyone who has always used screen protectors tried going without one with the 12 PM?

I’ve been using the 12 PM with a screen protector since day one but it never covered the notch, and I don’t have any scratches there.

The notch area never really gets touched by fingers, so maybe that’s why? Personally, I never go without a screen protector. The screen is still glass and glass can scratch. I’d rather put a screen protector on than be frustrated over scratches when I could’ve prevented them.

I can’t bring myself to spend that much for a screen protector. I mean God forbid I mess up the install and I’m out that much money. Especially considering I can buy a three pack for like 15 bucks and just replace it if anything happens or I mess up the install. Plus it literally says sapphire etched on the actual screen protector.

It doesn’t say sapphire etched on the screen protector anymore. They got updated a few months ago to remove that. Pretty hard to mess up the install with the included alignment tray. There’s 10% off codes online too. I say it’s worth it. 4 months in and not a single scratch. It’s nice

+1 from me. It is pricey but worth every Penny imo. I am using mine since 6 Months and not a single scratch. I wipe it once a day with a Microfiber and it looks like new.

I will definitely buy it again for my future iPhones. All my regular Tempered Glass Screen Protectors got scratched within a few days and it always annoyed me. Since here in my Country Screenprotecrots in the Stores are sold for half the price of the Shelllrus it is ok for me. Shure I can buy cheaper ones online but I tried a lot of them over the years and never was that happy like with the Shellrus.

That’s bananas, they scratched that easily for you? I’ve never had a tempered glass screen protector scratch ever. That being said I’m not really rough on my devices.

I am talking about micro scratches. When you use your phone with direct sunlight it is very annoying. Am not a rough person and very fussy. Maybe that`s why...
