Best guide for 10.8.4 on unsupported machines.

Hey guys, so I've been running the ml postfactors guide/files to install 10.8 on a mac pro 1.1, as I need support for the 7950. However when it gets to the point where I'm meant to boot it on the install partition it just comes up with the grey (PLEASE POWER OFF YOUR MACHINE SCREEN).

Apparently there's a better/faster method using the chameleon boot loader, could someone link me to the best guide for that?
