Best Hard Case for Macbook Pro 15"

Just got my screen cracked while traveling on an airplane... so I am looking for a _hard_ case that will prevent crushing as well as withstanding a drop or a couple of stair steps.
I am looking at the Pelican, and axio products... I really want to avoid cracking the screen again, so crush resistance is a priority.

I assume you are looking for something to transport the computer in, not just a case like something from Speck or Incase?

Out of curiosity how did you pack your bag, I assume that you checked it?
