Best HD for Macbook

Hi Guys,

I am looking at upgrading the harddrive in my macbook (earliest unibody one) and have looked around at a few options.

I expect there will be a few opinions on which are the best but what is the most recommended drive?

I am looking for one thats at least 500gb and preferably 7.2k or as quick as possible. I have read somewhere its best not to get one with a shock protection system built into it. Is that right?

I am currently looking at a Hitachi 7.2k 500gb drive and a WD 500gb 7.2k drive.

Are these good ones to go for?

Get the drive with the best warranty. 5 years is standard- if it's anything less then you know not to buy it. If they're both 5-year warranties, get the cheaper one.
