My personal favourite was when it was revealed popular entertainer Keith 'Cheggers' Chegwin's alcoholism had reached a point where it would kill him if he carried on drinking. Not a cheery story by any means, but one of the tabloids had the genius headline Cheggers Can't Be Boozers. :D

My favourite was when Inverness Caledonian Thistle knocked Celtic out of the Scottish Cup many moons ago:

"Super Cally Go Ballistic Celtic Are Atrocious"

Not in any way a favourite headline but one which confirmed my hatred for tabloid newspapers was when Father Ted star Dermot Morgan died and The Sun led with a front page headline of 'Father Dead'. They went on a long mental journey for that little gem.

Ah my favorite was a typo (deliberate?) in my college's paper when the horticulture club was trying to attract people to some booth they were having. They were giving away free potted plants, but somehow the ad read "Free Pot Plants"!

They did draw quite a crowd though...

I kick myself for not getting the screen grab for this but one RSS feed
headline stated:

Sometimes when it's a late night at the office your in the mood for some head...

The click thru then continues to say:

banging music -

not sure if it was deliberate, but it definitely got me to click and look twice to be sure I was reading it right. Maybe someone else saw it and can back me up?
