Best headphones for running

Well after running today I found the headphones for my nokia phone based on a similar design to this found here but these are probably better designed and better quality! And lets you put your iPod in your pocket or armband or whatever! I find if you have a strap round your neck as well it stops the headphones from dragging you down and digging into your skin!
I think the best for running are the ones that wrap aroud the back of your head, be it on-the-ear or in-ear headphones. You should also get an armband if you don't have one. This means less cable to get in the way while running.
I personally run with the headphones my psp came with, the cord goes to only one earphone and goes behind my neck to the other ear. They are also plastic encased and the cord is thicker rubber than most headphones I have used.
I use my Shure e3's when I am at the gym. Just stick them in and wrap them around your little head and you are all set.
I got some cheap around-the-ear Sony Sport ones from Target. They don't sound the best, but when I'm running I'm more concerned with comfort and their ability to stay put. Have a nice clip, too, which I use to hook 'em on to the collar of my shirt.

I'm hard to please when it comes to headphones, but I haven't found a pair that work for me yet. I had an old pair of maxell around the back, in the ear ones that were awesome. They only had a wire into one side and were built like tanks. Those died and I've tried at least a half dozen replacements with no luck. Lately I've taken to running without them (still carrying my nano with nike+ running, just not listening to music).
Yeah, I even ordered two pair of maxell's newer ones that I found cheap online figuring they'd be just as good. One pair broke the first time I wore them and the other pair went in the trash unopened. They were really junk.
I used to use the Sony MDR EX71 the in ears that are designed to have the corn wrap around your neck. The 2nd cord attachment (the one providing the length) has broke as a result of being yanked out on a plane ride, but they were the best for me. I may buy more but for now I am using the apple ones which aren't great for movement imho.
I also tried the bose in ears and if they were white I'd buy those because they were quite comfortable and withstood me moving my head quite a bit. And yes I want white over black because I'm into things matching.
I may give in though because bose has no intentions of releasing white if the black ones fail to sell.

Easily solved with a black iPod.
I have used plenty of headphones but they all tend to fall off after a mile or so. I received a pair of earphones(A8) from Bang and Olufsen and they are incredible. They wrap around my ear and never fall off.
I know they are a bit expensive but they are worth it for runners. I do recommend to put pads on the earphones though, because at times they can hurt your ears after a while.

strictly for running, get the cheapest possible pair of the ones that hook over each ear individually... just make sure you're comfortable with them for the duration of the run. also, try running the cord down your back under your shirt (provided you don't have an armband - but even if you do, you can run it out your sleeve).
