Best IM client for mac?

Which is the best FREE Chat client for Facebook/AIM/WM for Mac? I tried Trillian but it sucks! Thinking about Adium but want to hear others first!

I like Adium fine, but I don't use it much and am not what you call a "power user" when it comes to chat apps. I have both Yahoo and Hotmail accounts hooked up and both work well.

Be warned that it uses Growl notifications and it begs you to get the latest version of Growl if you don't have it, every time you restart Adium. The new Growl is no longer free apparently.
 
I have never tried Adium as I am quite happy with iChat. iChat has a small yet neat integration with Apple Mail. Does Adium also provide this feature? I'd guess not...
 
Allow me to be the first to say that I find Adium to be a pretty unappealing UI. Unfortunately, I came here to see if people were recommending anything better, but it seems as though that's not the case. :(
 
I am sorry many of you are not into Trillain Astra. I am ok with Astra on mbp but I am happy when I use it with Windows PC…much better than one with mbp.
 
I've been using iChat since Adium was just too clunky and horrendous (and I tried several themes from the internet, they just never flowed!) but now I have an iChat issue! See my other topic!
