Best iMac speakers? I say G3!

My friend and I cannot agree. He insists that the 20" G5 iMacs have the best sounding speakers, but I have yet to hear anything that sounds as good as an old slot-loading G3. They were a Harmon-Kardon design, if I am correct.

They were pretty nice speakers, can't recall the G5 iMac ones though.

I think the iMac G4 external speakers (that came with the macs tho) sound the best, its like a creature speaker almost.

I'm fond of the iMac G4 speakers myself, they looked and sounded great.

I don't have experience with the G3's or G5's, but I second that the external speakers that came with the G4's sound very nice. I was disappointed that they aren't compatible with my MBP (without an adapter), but the Sound Sticks I got more than make up for the loss.
