Greetings Community,

I've been on a hunt for the best IMAP email hosting company that will work seamlessly with Mail between a laptop, desktop and iphone.

I am hoping the company has unlimited storage for emails and 24 hour customer service.

Or if you guys have any suggestions on how to set up my IMAP account to keep everything in sync between all these devices.

Thanks!

I would suggest using Gmail. You can even set it up for your own domain through Google Apps http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/index.html

You will end up with the same experience whether on a Mac, PC, or iPhone and with a web interface as backup.

I use gmail and it's pretty good via the web interface, but it is very non-standard IMAP (actually it is not really IMAP at all, but uses labels to "simulate" folders). It has enough quirks that getting it to work with a desktop mail client can be frustrating, and in the end not very satisfying; they do have very explicit instructions for the most popular clients - if you try them then follow their instructions to the letter. I have contemplated trying one of the paid services that provide a true IMAP mailbox, but haven't got around to it yet.
