best in case battery pack for iphone 3gs

I have been looking at these & would like something where I dont have to take the phone out of the case all the time to charge, & does not interfere with it's functions.

I looked at a couple on line on amazon, the morphie air & incase, & they did not get the best reviews.

are these battery cases safe to use? I dont want to brick my iphone. It is an unlocked & jailbroken with 4.3.3, 3gs
