best in ear headphones with remote and mic?

I tried searching but obviously my search string was too general. I am looking for the best in ear headphones with remote and mic for the iphone 4. Basically a higher quality replacement for the headphones that ship with the phone! Something on a budget, say around $50? Any recommendations?

You want the best but on a budget of $50? Thats an oxymoron isn't it? I think for $50 or less, your best bet is the one that iphone came with. Really good ones will set you $100 or more.
 
ok then how about suggestions on ones without the budget constraint?

I already have a $300 set of custom molded ear buds. i don't need to spend that much on a set with controls and a mic that I will vary rarely use!

I reccomend anything Skullcandy. Lifetime warranty, low price and good sound quality=:eek:. Ive owned a pair of Skullcandy Ink'd and loved them.

i'd start with this thread: Head FI 91 IEM Review

I ended up ordering: MEElectrionics M6 for $57 w/shipping. They have ther single button with mic. I can tell you now though, if your wanting the volume buttons as well your going to be closer to $100. Reguardless of how good the earphones are. The ones I ordered and all in your price range new will be single button w/mic that will control music playback/call answer/hang up. I really dont need the volume controls so it wasnt a biggie for me.

I've read good things about the Klipsch S4i, V-Moda Remix Remote and UB7 Ultimate Buds.
 
I actually quite like my Zagg smartbuds. They're normally $80 but you can almost always find a code for 40-50% off. I love "hangin tight" thing and the coating that makes them very difficult to tangle. And I'm no audiophile but they sound good to me lol.
 
Nuforce ne-7m if you wanna have eargasm for $50. The zagg smartbuds are good too, they easily beat my sennheiser cx300
