Hi guys,
Sorta new to mac here, I am wondering what a good chipset and/or card is for running a couple internal drives in mirror raid. Looking for something that is supported by sierra, not necessary to boot from. I just like having mirror drives in every computer to keep data safe. Most mirrors I setup on pc don't tell me much except from the boot up bios screen so I guess I would need os support since mac video cards seem to be flaky at showing the startup screens through DP even with mac bios or oem mac card, at least with my Samsung 4k monitors. The only way I would know if a drive went bad in a mirror would be if there was software running in the os. I'd also like to dual boot windows and access the drive there too. It seems to be a tall list, does anyone know a pcie card that fits the bill?
Best internal Sata Raid card for 2010 5,1 mac pro?
