Looking for a soft sleeve for my new iPad 4. Can't have any zippers, snaps, or anything metal. Looking for something completely soft, that I can leave the iPad in at the airport.

I've had great experience with foofbags for my computers, and they make iPad sleeves also, though I'm getting tired of the patterns and wouldn't mind looking at something else.

What's good?

If you're looking for something soft and minimalist, take a look at the Acme Made Bay Street iPad Sleeve.

http://www.acmemade.com/product/The-Bay-Street-Sleeve-for-iPad,73,20.htm

I have the sleeve they make for the MBA '13, which I have been extremely happy with for my laptop. The material is soft yet firm, and I've had it for 1+ year and doesn't show any wear. I ended up getting their iPad sleeve because I couldn't find any other sleeve that was minimalist and sleek.

You can order this product through their website (the website says they are not yet in stock but it is wrong - I just ordered one this week). You can also order one with free shipping from B&H Photo:

Good luck! :p

I use the waterfield smart case for my iPad 4 and I just got the slip case for my soon to be mini image.jpg. http://sfbags.com/products/ipad-cases/ipad-cases.php

OMG, I logged on thinking, gosh, we really need ANOTHER case\sleeve thread on here. Thanks for making my day!

Show me a recent change in size\dimension of an iPad.

Show me a lengthy thread dedicated to sleeves and sleeves only.

You know man you can take the stick out any time. Don't like the thread? Then piss off and hit the back button.

X2 Timbuk2 Plush sleeve. I've had mine for over 6 months and it still looks new. I found it for $5 too, but gladly pay more for it. When I'm not carrying my iPad, sometimes I use it to carry cables/cords.

I traveled with it a lot and it doesn't look like an iPad case and I don't have to remove it when going through security.

The velcro on the sleeve keeps my iPad snug. Let us know if the Rickshaw works. I think you will be buying a Timbuk2 sleeve after you return it. j/k

Waterfield Outback sleeve if you like the rugged look. Amazing protection and made in the USA. Looks great with a Filson bag.
