Hi,

I am looking for suggestions as to the best emergency iPhone 3G power backup source for those long trips. I have seen the 3G Juice and a company called " "More-Thing" both offer rechargable battery packs that are ment to recharge the 3G in the field. ( when a outlet or car charger are not available.)

Has anyone tried one of these... or is there something better I should be looking at?

Thanks

I purchased a rechargable battery pack for my wife when we were passing through the airport in Hong Kong. I don't remember the brand, but it does work pretty well, I believe it was rated at 1000mAH.

I'll take a look when I get home so I can post more info about it.

Just ordered the Richard Solo 1800

I had a question about the battery and I got a reply from Richard himself.... Now that's customer service.:D

Just ordered the Richard Solo 1800:D

Just go to amazon and search for "USB batterry pack".

Many different packs with user reviews. Get something over 1000mah. Most of them are actually the same internally just different price, case and vendor.
