Women aren't supposed to actually carry things in their pockets, at least according to jeans manufacturers who make these tiny almost decorative pockets that you can't actually use. I need a case for my iPhone 3gs that will both protect it AND fit it my pocket, but I'm not seeing much.

I'm rough on phones, so my brother gave me this Otterbox case, but it sticks out and it's rubbery on the outside so it turns my pocket out when I need to use the phone.

Are there are cases that can do both of these things at once?

I get frustrated by the same thing. I'm at the point where I now refuse to buy jeans from manufacturers that put tiny pockets on women's jeans, which rules out the Gap and Lucky Brand, unfortunately.

I have a Speck PixelSkin HD case which is on the thin side but does offer some protection and is easy to get in and out of a pocket. Or you could try their CandyShell case, which is thicker but should offer more protection.
