I'm wondering what the best iphone setup is, in terms of case and screen protector.

When the 5S comes out I would like to get this case: http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-SGP-Pr...ternational/dp/B00D94RCV4/ref=wl_mb_recs_3_dp

and a screen protector, I don't know whats the best.

However, I don't what to use my new 5S without a case so in past releases have you all been able to get a case before the new iphone was released?

If the iPhone 5S/5C have the same screen size and dimensions of the iPhone 5's screen I recommend this combo (IMO):
Tech Armor iPhone 5 Premium High Definition (HD) Clear Screen Protector [3-Pack] - Retail Packaging

With
OtterBox Commuter Series Case for iPhone 5 - Retail Packaging - Night Sky

Or
Urban Armor Gear IPH5-WHT/BLK-VP Composite Case with Impact Resistant Bumpers and Screen Kit for iPhone 5 - White/Black

What is your case preferences?

I have used the Otterbox defender series before and enjoyed it. Worked pretty well for me. Definitely best if you want a bulky but highly protective case.

I have also used the Magpul case, which is very durable for what it is but way more low profile on your phone. I always recommend this to people who want a durable but low profile case. http://store.magpul.com/prod_detail_list/125

I'd like to recommend our case if you want a nice looking, high quality USA made case that also protects your phone. Definitely gives you the unique and quality factor: www.timberfly.com You can read one bloggers review here: http://www.goodbullhunting.com/2013/8/22/4648192/wood-iphone-5-case-timberfly-custom-gbh

Good luck with your search!

Best in what ways? What's your budget? Don't just assume that your notion of universal is best no matter what the subject. If one case and screen protector combo was best then everyone would use it and no one would use any of the alternatives. Be very clear regarding what your criteria are.

Thanks for the case suggestions.

Have you been able to order cases to have on day 1 of an iPhone release in the past?

IMO bodyguardz or gadgetshieldz full body protection for sides and back is must.

Then spigen glas.tr (slim or nano) glass screen protector.

Followed by Vaja grip leather case.

Perfect setup for iPhone

I got the iPhone 4 on launch day with a number (that apple eventually gave me my money back for in antenagate)

I bought an iPhone 5 leather flip case about a week before they were released (had already been announced of course). I was a little concerned if it would fit, but there were no problems, and the shop said I could return if there were.
