Best iPod music ripper for OS X Leopard

I have a bunch of music on my desktop that I would like to transfer onto my new SR Macbook. I don't have a LAN or a wireless router unfortunately so I was thinking of doing it through my iPod. Could I get some recommendations for simple, fast, and free iPod music rippers? Thanks =]

You want to add all your music to your iPod and then plug it into your MB and rip the songs off of it?

Why not just PUT the files on the iPod? Simple drag and drop on both ends...
