Right now I am considering in getting the moshi clear guard for my macbook aluminum 2.4. I used to have the Uniea Macbook 13-inch Aluminum and Macbook Air U-Cover Silicone Keyboard Protector - Pink, but I returned that right away because I didn't like how it looked, had like air or something when you pushed on the keyboard keys, and was bent on the edges and didnt fit all the way down. So now I've decided to get something see thru and fit hoping to still see my blacklit keyboard. Does anyone recommend the moshi clear guard? How does it look on the keyboard and how is it opening and closing the mb? Does it stick or anything? Thanks. :D

ps. recommend any others?

I've had good luck with the Marware, but it's mostly sat on a desktop so I don't know how well it travels with opening and closing constantly.

I'd be curious to hear how you like the moshi.

I was choosing between a KBcovers one and a iSkin one. I chose the iSkin one because it apparently has some antibacterial coating on it (Microban).

I have a unibody Macbook Pro and I got the iSkin Protouch FX. Overall it's okay but the clear parts are starting to get darker, and the bottom edges (left and right) bend upwards. Maybe it's designed for the plastic Macbooks or something. Other than that it's an awesome cover :)

After trying many of them - KB Covers is the best!

I never really knew if my keyboard cover was good or bad until I tried KB Covers. ZCover and iSkin are very similar in feel and I got these first...they seemed a bit thick and clunky, but I had nothing else to compare it to. I figured they were all like that. A friend turned me onto KB Covers and bought one from a local Mac dealer in town...what a difference.

I definitely recommend the Moshi ClearGuard as it's awesome and really thin, the backlight looks great, it feels great and smooth to type on (not rubbery at all like iSkin)... and it's way thinner than the iSkin/zCover ones!
But the only thing is that there is a tiny overlap on the function keys which doesn't bother me at all because all the other keys fit perfectly (they done this so it would fit with old and new keyboards).
I ordered mine from here on a Thursday and it arrived the following Monday to London!

I went with the iskin, just purchased it last night. If you signup for mailing list you can get a 15% off coupon.

Thanks for the quick review apersianboycom. Judging by those pics it looks much more clearer and "flush" than the KBcovers.com one I got for my 2.0GHz UMB. I'll be ordering a Moshi ClearGuard this week for my 2.4.
